Brief History

The Britannia Petite originated in England where it is actually called the Polish. When introduced into the United States a breed named polish already existing, so the new breed was given the name Britannia Petite. Warren & Wendy Porcha were responsible for the original acceptance of the REW in 1977. Rene Goedderz was responsible for the development of all the other colors in the 1990's.
