The ears should hang down vertically on both sides of the head from a prominent and properly positioned crown. The ears should be positioned close to the cheeks, and should open towards the face. When looking from the front, the outline of the ears and top of the head should lokk like a horseshoe. The ears should be thick,and wide with
lots of fur. The ears should sit just behind the eyes and should be no longer more than 1" below the jaw. The size of the ear should balance with the size of the head and body.
